The Truth Behind Grow Taller Pills
The internet is littered with grow taller pills that promise to help you grow taller within a few days or weeks, all without any physical activity or initiative on your part. These so called height increase pills claim to have been “scientifically researched” over years and decades, and are often subscribed and advocated by dubious doctors.
Most of these pill manufacturers, however, are complete scams. The pills that they sell often contain nothing more than powdered chalk. In effect, these are completely “empty” tablets that can, and will never aid you in increasing your height.
A second, more rare category of height pills contain a complex cocktail that stimulates the release of HGH (Human Growth Hormone) by the pituitary gland. HGH has been known to be vital in regulating human growth – both in the muscle mass, as well as in height. However, after a certain age, and without stimulation, HGH has no effect on your height. It will help you in gaining muscle though.
These second category of height increase pills, therefore, cannot be completely dismissed as scams. With proper stimulation, they do have the ability to help you in increasing your height. But as advertised, these pills will have no effect if you do not take the personal initiative to regulate your diet and perform certain exercises.
Another drawback of these HGH pills is that they have serious side-effects. A few doses, and you might find yourself with severe stomach aches, headaches, nausea, drowsiness, and weakness.
In summation, you should not trust any website that sells you instant height increase pills, and should treat them with suspicious disdain. The only way to increase your height is either through surgery, or through exercise and nutrition. No amount of pills, tablets or powders will magically make you grow taller by several inches in a fortnight.
